Electrocatalyst for PEMFC
The proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) is one of the most promising candidate as a clean and power source for electric vehicles or combustion engine in automotive transport. Currently, we attempt to promote the performance of PEMFC by studying and preparing the electrocatalyst for oxygen reduction including both Pt-based catalyst and non-Pt based catalyst.

Wastewater treatment
To treat wastewater from various industrial sections such as textile industry, tannery industry or distillery industry, the electrochemical method and photo-Fenton process were applied both in batch and continuous reactor.

Metal recovery from spent mobile phone battery
Due to the increasing demand of mobile phone battery consumption and the toxicity of spent batteries. We develop the process to remove and recovery heavy metal from these spent batteries including electromagnetic separation and leaching process.
